Our client is a reputable healthcare provider in Western Australia, known for delivering high-quality patient care across general practice and specialty services. We are assisting them in recruiting a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join their clinical team and support patient-centred care in a dynamic, professional environment.

Position Overview

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive and high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with the standards set by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). This role involves working collaboratively with general practitioners, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based nursing care across all aspects of patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Administer vaccinations, wound care, and chronic disease management services
  • Assist with minor procedures and patient preparation for treatments
  • Coordinate and maintain patient health records and clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Triage patient concerns and escalate to medical staff when required
  • Promote health education and preventative healthcare programs
  • Maintain infection control and hygiene standards within the clinic
  • Assist with accreditation processes and compliance audits
  • Liaise effectively with GPs, allied health, and external healthcare providers
  • Support new staff and student nurses through mentoring and clinical guidance

Skills & Experience

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse
  • Some experience required, ideally in a general practice or community health setting
  • Strong understanding of clinical standards, infection control, and best practice protocols
  • Excellent communication, clinical judgement, and patient care skills
  • Proficiency in using medical software such as Best Practice, Medical Director, or similar systems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to continuous professional development

Desirable Qualifications

  • Immunisation certificate approved in WA
  • CPR and/or Advanced Life Support certification
